Marloth Park Disposal Site

No amount of pressure on the Nkomazi Local Municipality could get a response. Little did we know that because of all the emails and letters to the Local Authorities, this was taken to the relevant Provincial Department.  Imvelo Environmental Consultants were appointed to carry out the Environmental Impact Assessment, which MPPOA fully supported. This initiative has resulted in a license being granted for the decommissioning of Marloth Park Waste Disposal site and the construction of a new transfer station. This will result in the present site being cleared and rehabilitated. - Pat Wilmans MPPOA Chairperson.
